Backsite Of Hypnotic Eye Album Cover

What do you think of the booklet?

I love that all lyrics are in there, some are very good. Its front picture as well as the center collage I think would have made good if not better covers for the album!

Great album. Not as good as some of his early stuff, but good easy listening for this Petty fan.

Would anyone be kind enough to share the lyrics from the insert for those of use who just got the music files.

The ones I've found online so far, are way wrong.

I was highly annoyed that there were no details in the liner notes about which guitars are used on each song - but in the issue of Guitar Aficionado that has Mike as the cover boy, he mentions in the article the guitars used on the album.  Says that regal Les Paul on the cover is 70% of the album's sound...

For the lack of a better excuse, when I was a kid, they had these things called albums. IF you are too young to know what those are, let me explain. They were these huge 12 inch plastic/wax disks that contained music in grooves!!! Somewhere, somehow, we had a genius develope small plastic disks that were digital and cost less money to make with superior sound that cost the customer more, OH MY! Needless to say, that was all BS to make everyone with a record collections buy their whole collection again on CD and make the rich, richer! NOW to your question, why didn't TPATH put all the lyrics on the cover, it's quite simple. There's NO room, an LP is 12 inches square, a CD it 4 3/4 inches square. Where would the back cover of SGT Pepper be on a CD?? I'm not saying anything bad about anyone, I'm just saying what I know. When you all get as old as me, speak up.....LOL. Have a great day.

According to the liner notes, the baby on the back side is a photo taken by Frantisek Czanner.

It's a stock photo that has been photoshopped:

Flower Field, Cloud and Faultline photos are stock photos as well, you will find them when you google the photographers names.

Chase Simpson and Josh Jove from Dylan's Band are mentioned as Assistant Engineers at Tom's Malibu Studio.

The complete artwork comes from Smog Design Inc. in L.A.; they have worked for the likes of Katie Perry, John Mayer, Garbage, Cher and Pink.

Hypnotic Eye is on their website too.

You guys I googled Dylan Pettys band Automatik Slim and found this video. ( I'm going to attempt to attach it). I didn't even know that he had a band! Sorry, maybe it's just me but from what I hear on this video, Dylan needs to find a new line of work.
