Liberty 191 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 I refuse to answer this with just one decade. 50-79... I love it. I love early rock, but I love what it inspired, and I love what that inspired... I like some 80s and 90s... but not like I love 50s 60s and 70s. Nothing makes me want to dance like 50s rock and roll. Actually, its the only music that makes me want to dance. And I don't dance. Marion 1,411 Report post Posted March 11, 2014 I can't pick one. There is something special in every single decade and I look forward to seeing what the future brings.
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted March 11, 2014 ^ Me too, Marion. There's no possible way to pick a favorite. There is a lot I love about all of those decades!
Snowy 39 Report post Posted March 11, 2014 I'm with most of you. Mid 60's to late 70's would be my favourite period, but I like music from all other periods as well. I just don't like much of the "music" served up by commercial radio stations who are told what to play by their musical masters. Sorry about the rant, but I do feel better now. TomFest 576 Report post Posted March 12, 2014 Gotta go with the 60's if just for The Beatles. I love the 50's and 70's also though.
AngelDream 16 Report post Posted March 12, 2014 The 60s definitely but also love some of the 50's, especially the older stuff like Richie Valens and Buddy Holly, etc.
