Recommended Posts

Had company so late post....we had grilled smoked pork chops, broccoli casserole, white acre peas, potato salad and banana pudding for dessert....washed down with sweet tea (which I never have unless it is a holiday or we have company).

Susan..they are a small light green/whitish pea that is grown locally. I "put up" as we say down here about 2 bushels last summer. They are a wonderful dish for a cold winter's day. They are very delicate and have a slight buttery taste.

Mmmm, they sound lovely, Amber. I've never heard of them.

I'm going to make lentil stew this weekend. Not sure about today; I'm starting a boot camp/good eating program today, so I'm not sure I'll survive to cook today. ;)
