Magnolia 171 Report post Posted October 6, 2013 I had a date Friday night and we had a great Margherita pizza. There are two slices left that in my fridge and I know they'll be calling my name around supper time. Meant to eat them yesterday but forgot.
nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted October 6, 2013 I'm going to grill pork chops, and have twice baked garlic potatoes. I'm also going to grill some hot and sweet peppers from the garden and make a tomato and basil salad also from the garden.

Amber 70 Report post Posted October 7, 2013 We had fried speckled sea trout (a rare event), grilled zucchini, fried green tomatoes (extra rare event), fresh shelled peas and butter beans and refrigerator pickles (cucumbers, onions and bell pepper in a vinegar/sugar/turmeric/celery seed/mustard powder/corriander/ salt and pepper) with homemade cheese cake with cherry topping. Amber 70 Report post Posted October 8, 2013 I cook like that all the time. If you hadn't been dieting when you were here, I would have had some good stuff instead of all the healthy stuff. Made a key lime cake a few weeks ago and a strawberry cake that was sooooo good a few weeks before that. I love to cook. We have fresh GA tomatoes right now too. Been eating "mater" sandwiches for lunch...add some cheddar chipotle cheese and some crispy bacon for me, just bacon and lettuce for Wes....and we are going ummm, ummm, good! SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted October 8, 2013 Sunday I had a frozen dinner. Last night I had a huge Granny Smith apple dunked in Caramel and then Belgian Milk Chocolate from Amy's Candy Kitchen. They're located in downtown Cedarburg, and I just can't resist picking up one of their gourmet apples every few weeks. They also do mail-order: http://www.amysgourmetapples.com/gourmet-apples
