SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted October 6, 2013 I'd say good. Maybe if I cooked more, I would be better. I don't like cooking for just myself.
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted October 6, 2013 I have to say only fair. I rarely cook, since it's just me, but even back when I was cooking for my family I got by, but it was nothing to write home about. Now, I love those cooking shows and would love to have a kitchen large enough to actually try some things and experiment a little.
TomFest 576 Report post Posted October 6, 2013 I would say "fair" - also because I rarely cook. I think I could do a decent job in a pinch.

nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted October 6, 2013 ^ Next time I visit we'll have to stay home and cook instead of hitting all those steak houses.....LOL
Marion 1,411 Report post Posted October 7, 2013 I am a pretty good cook I think but nothing fancy. I would eat my own cooking anyway. haha! Even if I were single I think I would cook and eat at home. It's not that hard to cook for one.
jawallac 48 Report post Posted October 7, 2013 I'm a good cook, and enjoy cooking. Marion, I think it's harder to cook for one person...can't tell you how many omlets or PB&J's I've had. It's something I've struggled/worked with for years!
Amber 70 Report post Posted October 7, 2013 I am an excellent cook, or at least that is what my family says. When our son got married and I called to invite them to dinner one day, he said Yes immediately. I told him didn't he want to know what we were having first? He replied, "doesn't matter. Whatever you cook will be wonderful." So, as long as my family loves my food, I feel like that is all that matters. Just made a cheese cake that was so creamy and delicious my husband grabbed me and kissed me right on the mouth! That is all the applause I need. GoldenRose 18 Report post Posted October 7, 2013 I'd say fair. I'm pretty good at baking but not much else.
Liberty 191 Report post Posted October 7, 2013 Excelleeeeent. I LOVE to cook! I wish I could cook more, but between work, school, and my father not cleaning up after his own messes in the kitchen, I don't cook as much as I would like, but I feel like it's something that I'm good at that comes naturally to me. I love to watch my grandma cook, and I always cooked since I was really little. It's not that I don't like cooking for myself... I don't mind that. It's just that I'm not good at it at all. I always end up making enough for at least three, for some reason. Haha. And then I have to eat twice what I need, and have left overs. I guess my eyes overpower my stomach. I love to eat too. Haha! I love how food connects people, families, and cultures. I think it's really great. I love watching cooking shows, finding recipes, and whathaveyou.
