Mikeyt 136 Report post Posted September 22, 2013 No, we don't get that in the UK. We have games like bog snorkelling, wellie throwing and tossing the caber. Not to mention chasing round cheeses downhill and man v. horse. Oh, and we also have football, aka soccer, and rugby (league and union) which is like American Football but without the protection, ad-breaks or Tom Petty playing at half time. Amber 70 Report post Posted September 22, 2013 Mike...you will have to explain some off those games one day. They sound very entertaining. The only college football game I watch is the GA-FL game, just because of the rivalry between the two states. I usually bet a beer on it. I only watch the super bowl when the half-time show is on (if it is someone I want to see like TPATH and Sir Paul). I am more of a tennis fan.
Rick 156 Report post Posted September 23, 2013 I watch Oklahoma, but they weren't playing yesterday.

You forgot cricket, Mikeyt! Cricket is the only team sport I'm really interested in watching.
Mikeyt 136 Report post Posted September 24, 2013 Ah, cricket. The game that lasts longer than some marriages. How could I have forgotten? You've got some good teams up your way, I gather.
GoldenRose 18 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 Cricket is the saver of marriages too. My parents argue much less when my dad is occupied with a five-day test match. A Yorkshire v Derbyshire match is the special one.
Mikeyt 136 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 They probably forget what they were arguing about by the 3rd day?
