Amber 70 Report post Posted July 2, 2013 Vacation here too! Gonna spend a week and a half at "the bluff" on the GA coast. Plan to hang out with friends, visit my favorite beach and watch fireworks, go boating, fishing and grill some great food. Life is good for July!! kelly 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2013 lots of working leading into July. Just have tomorrow at the office and then off Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sunday. 4th of July party on Thursday at my parents house (in the pool!), beach Friday if the weather holds up, going to Benton, PA to a bluegrass music festival on Saturday. The end of this week is looking pretty good! And I'm not on call for the entire rest of July (just ended a 9-day stretch) We'll see what else happens... The 27th I have my friend's son's wedding back home by my dad's in Turtle Lake. In between all that, I'll be watching Miles! He's growing like a weed! Amber 70 Report post Posted July 2, 2013 ^ (Susan and Mike) Come on down!! Is it possible to do a life swap??? That opens up so many possibilities! PS...this is the first July since we began working (both started in the 70s) that my husband and I have had this much time off. We are enjoying it. It is making retirement look REALLY GOOD! GoldenRose 18 Report post Posted July 3, 2013 I've been on my holidays already but I've got my fingers crossed for another one in July! Other than that I'll spend the month visiting family; next week is my great aunt's 100th birthday so I'm hoping to spend some time with her.
