Playback 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Apart from my son and husband, the last family member I spoke to was a couple of weeks ago - one of my ex-sister-in-laws who I actually was very fond of. I'd hoped to meet up with her and her daughter (my neice) in Turkey next month, but unfortunately she wouldn't be able to make it due to present husband's knee replacement. TomFest 576 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Talked to Mom a couple of days ago. The most important thing was about my Aunt - her only remaining sibling - that has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. The tests seem to show that it's been caught early and we're all optimistic!

nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 I talked to my mom this morning and told her not to cook supper, cuz I was baking chicken. White, red or sweet potatoes and frying some sweet Italian peppers from last years garden, SO DON"T cook. After that, I talked to my brother and we talked about guitars and music and he told me about some of the guitars he's making. They look pretty good and he said they sound fantastic!! I think he has 2 done and is working on his 3rd, all Telecasters with mostly American made parts with official Fender "Esquire" necks (60th anniversary made in Mexico). I put my order in for a butterscotch body with maple neck and all the goodies, I have no idea if I'll ever get one......lol.
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Talked to one of my sisters last night about a feud that's going on between our step-mom and her daughter. It's a very public feud and, while entertaining, should be done in private.
kelly 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 I talked to my parents yesterday - we talked about the bombings in Boston and how my workday was going. And my mom told me to be careful in NYC on my way home.
agirl 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Besides my daughter that I just talked to I spoke to my mom and sister last night. We talked about my nephew having to put his dog asleep. He is just so heartbroken. He had him cremated so he can bury him with him someday. He just loved that dog so much.
