Question of the Day - 12/04/07

You guys are lucky.....took awhile to think of one....but Gettysburg and the Little Big Horn are two that come to mind. Its sad to think of all the human life that was lost at both places. Mothers and Fathers cried then, as they do now.

I live near Philadelphia - we're surrounded by history here. I'm less than a mile from Moland House, which is where Washington and Lafayette camped and joined forces, and a short drive from the spot where Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas Day, 1776 to attack Trenton.

I've been to Stonehenge twice, both times on a sunset tour where you get to go inside the circle. I just love it there! It's so neat.

But I would say the most historical place I've been is the Acropolis in Athens.

I've seen the Alamo, Tombstone, where they first found gold in CA, I also saw Moland House that Nancy is stalking about. :003:

I've also seen some very old temples in Japan and went to the World Expo there in 1970.
