nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 What is your favorite type of restaurant to eat?
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 Going out to eat is not a regular past time for us. I know some people enjoy that but I know I can make better at home. So I chose the Expensive High Class Restaurant. It would be an event and something special. I loved eating at the Northall in London last June. With friends and we fundraised, as well. It was a beautiful place and the food was like art! It is funny......because we all had the same thought......get the cameras out, lol! I love seeing the photos of us with everyone's camera aimed at the dish
Rick 156 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 Actually, my favorite place to eat is at home. I don't eat at any fast food chains unless I'm out west and there's an In-n-Out around (in which case I'll go there three or four times per trip). Otherwise, I like a nice, moderately priced restaurant with simple food. High Class is too classy for me.
TomFest 576 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 When we do go out, it's typically a medium priced place live Olive Garden, or Outback Steakhouse. If the question is - where is the best food? - that would be the high-class place. Best steak I EVER had was at the most expensive restaurant in town. They lived up to the reputation. I almost never go to a fast food place.
Amber 70 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 Don't do fast food very much either. (Ask Marion --didn't know a 20 piece nugget box was SO BIG)! I do not eat out a lot, when I do, we usually got to medium priced sit down restaurants where I order the senior portion, a salad or an appetizer. Most restaurants serve portions that are way too big. I did enjoy Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles (LA) and a salad at Dukes (Malibu) and chicken piccata at Geofferies (Malibu). I usually only eat out when on trips.
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 I love a high-class expensive place for special occasions. Hardly even happens though. Darn it! I'm more likely to go out with friends to a moderately priced local Mexican place or a local favorite pizza parlor. Not big on chain restaurants. Marion 1,411 Report post Posted January 18, 2013 We don't go out much but I picked a medium priced sit down restaurant. I'm not crazy about fast food. HA! Amber, I forgot about that! We only ate there because we were in a rush!
Amber 70 Report post Posted January 19, 2013 ^I know! But I learned a lesson..... we hadn't eaten in forever, but still couldn't eat a 20 piece together, much less apiece. I have filed it away for future reference.
agirl 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2013 Medium priced sit down restaurant.
SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted January 19, 2013 I love to eat out. My favorite places are medium-priced ethnic restaurants, especially hidden gems. I rarely eat at a high-end restaurant, but love to for a special occasion. I try to avoid fast food chains, but love little taco stands and that sort of thing. Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted January 19, 2013 I like medium priced sit down places. But I've also got a few dives (especially down in LA area) that are cheap and have great food that I love!
