Rick 156 Report post Posted December 1, 2012 Going to see "Hitchcock" with some friends and then we'll be going out for dinner. No idea where. But tomorrow....we're finally celebrating Thanksgiving, now that our son-in-law is home. Our family, his family. So turkey, etc. I'm baking the pies (pumpkin praline and apple apricot). nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted December 1, 2012 It's Saturday, so I'll be watching some football/basketball games and just make some pizza's. It'll be an easy day. Tomorrow will be different, if the daughter comes down, we'll probably have pasta-patud. If not, it's going to be 60 degrees and sunny, so I'll take out sirloin steaks for the grill. agirl 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2012 I just bought a BBQ'd tri tip from the store. I even had them slice it. I also got some really good bread to warm up and I'll make a veg and potatoes of some sort. BTW, Rick, I'm dying to see Hitchcock. Let us know how you like it. Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 2, 2012 Mmmm! Everything sounds so yummy! We're having a Mexican food potluck tonight at work. So I slow cooked a roast to have shredded beef for the tacos and burritos or whatever. I could hardly sleep it smelled so good!
weird monkey 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2012 I made lemongrass soup with straw mushrooms last night. It was good, but not quite as good as the local Thai place. I think it needed more lemongrass.
Amber 70 Report post Posted December 2, 2012 We bar-b-q'd too. Had a half a boneless Boston butt sliced and grilled it, then put it in an aluminum pan with sauce for an hour on low on the grill. Made baked beans, cole slaw and steamed squash and onions. UmmUmmm!
DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2012 I didn't cook. We went to Cracker Barrel instead. I always have to refrain from saying "Crack whore Barrel" lol

It's not a Thai place but Armenian.
