nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 Just lost power for about 5 seconds, but that was enough time to mess everything up. Had to reset all clocks in the house, reboot cable tv and reboot 3 puters. Not to mention it stopped my listening to the Bad English CD. And I also lost all the windows I had open including the one for tomorrows Classic Rock Video Of The Day. All is restored now, but it's a pain in the ass when that happens. I wonder if it had anything to do with sirens and about 5-6 fire trucks roaring by the house between 7 and 8am this morn. Power went out about 8:56am here. SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 Sorry for all the hassle, Nurk. Not a good way to start the day. Hopefully it will be smooth-sailing from here on in!

Amber 70 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 At the hospital we used UPS which kept us from losing stuff when the power flickers (which happens a lot with summer thunderstorms). Sure would be nice to have one at home.
