Amber 70 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 Each one is different, depending on many factors. I cannot pick just one.
Rick 156 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 Really difficult, but I'm going to pick The Kinks AND The Who, October 31, 1969, at the Kinetic Playground in Chicago. What a night!!!!!
Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 Oh gosh, that's a tough one. Like Amber said there's so many different experiences. Some concerts stand out because the show was awesome. Some stand out because of the friends I was with and the memories we created surrounding that concert. I think those are my favorite.
bm29759 80 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 I don't have one that stands out as being the best... Usually the show I just saw is the best... I do have some that I could have passed on.
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 Yes, really hard to pick just one. So many great memories with each and every one of them. Going backstage at Madison Square Garden (which, just by itself was cool!!) and meeting Tom was pretty amazing!! The Mudcrutch shows and being so close to them in that tiny Troubadour (thank you, Kianna, for being there )...and meeting Jeff Lynne. The Benefit at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank....and meeting Jackson for the first time. Eric and Steve....Eric and Jeff....Paul McCartney!! The one I am thinking about the most now is my last one seeing TPATH. Being at that beautiful Royal Albert Hall.....in London....sharing that song of Steve's with Pattie Boyd! Meeting up with Amanda and seeing fellow Farmer, Johni, again....and, of course....Mike putting his wrist band in my hand on the way out. Every concert tells a story and they are all good!! Here's to more! :035:
TomFest 576 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 Gotta go with Paul McCartney. He's a Beatle. Pretty decent resume.
Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 Yeah, this is a toughie for sure. I'm gonna say the ones I've shared with so many of my friends. The very last being a Get The Led Out show I saw last March. Went with so many special friends. It was a really great night.
Sweet Little Queen 242 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 1 Tom Petty in Horsens this year, because I was in first row, and many of my friends was there too. 2 Tom Petty concert in Humburg , because it was 1st concert of TP & HB in my life. 3. Paul Mccartney's concert in Red Square. It was great concert. This was the first visit of Paul to Russia. I was in a special area for the fans near the stage. Before the concert, I went to the press conference with him.
agirl 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2012 OMG, there are so many! I loved the Tampa TPATH show years ago where we all went in Danny's friends limo. Those are still the best wings that Danny and his wife catered from their restaurant. For me it was all the people we were with.
LizzieB 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 I always say my last concert was the very best concert ever. There are so many, I really cannot pick one that was "the best". But Ray Davies at Royal Albert Hall was pretty, pretty special!
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) I'm gonna say the two Vic shows I went to in, was that 2005? In Chicago. From the friends I was with, to the small venue to the awesome set lists. Just the most incredilble shows in every way! DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 They Might Be Giants in 2001 aka the concert that almost didn't happen--there were technical difficulties (OKGo was supposed to open up) and John Linnell was sick, but he played anyway. And I got to meet John Flansburgh. He signed my tshirt.
Marion 1,411 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 I have so many favorites, I can't pick one but the best concerts are the ones shared with close friends. That's the best part! The Dirty Knobs concert at Jones House was high on my list of one of my favorite concerts ever!

I really wish TPATH would do more shows like that. Patty, we need to hear all about that. Can't wait!
