LOL I'm sure I won't be cooking today, I imagine I'll wander over to the Mexican place up the street for my vegetarian burrito fix this evening. LOL I have to take a quick trip to San Diego tomorrow, maybe with a detour through Encinitas to take pictures of the koi at the meditation garden. I am hoping to get a bowl of soup at La Especial Norte in Leucadia for lunch. (As luck would have it, I have a jury duty summons for Tuesday, and since I won't know if I have to go or not until Monday night, I can't stay over.) Tonight I am cooking up a pseudo cajun stew - ground beef, tomatoes, okra, potatoes and cajun seasonings. The objective is to clear some stuff out of the freezer that is getting old. My son-in-law's salon (my second job) is just north of there on the Coast Highway. Look for it as you drive by: Ryan Thomas Hair Studio. It's an orange and white sign. We were hoping to go down today and I'd stay overnight, but my bf is waiting for a check, so he can get down there and get his car fixed. We hope it arrives tomorrow - it was sent on the 31st.
