nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted August 25, 2012 Even though most states require you to have car insurance, TOO many people don't have it. Do you?

SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) Yes, it's required in Wisconsin. I just have liability, not collision, because my car isn't worth that much. Or is it the other way around? Edited August 25, 2012 by SingsInFrench

PumpkinBumpkin 1 Report post Posted August 25, 2012 Yes,Ohio requires it and I would have it even if it wasn't required.
nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted August 25, 2012 ^ I know Ohio requires it, cuz I live here. What I don't understand is why they don't enforce it unless you get caught for a violation. Most ppl get it for a month to show they have it to get a license, then drop it til the licence expires. It sucks and is not legal in Ohio, so why do so many ppl get away with it. AND if it's a law, why do I have to pay a premium on my car insurance for "uninsured motorists"? Something IS wrong!!!!!

I know they do random audits on people to make sure they have insurence, cause my brother was randomly chosen(and yes he did have it).
