Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted August 9, 2012 I've been fortunate enough to see them live many times. My first show was way back in 2003 in Ventura. It came right after I got back from Chicago for the Vic and Soundstage shows so I was still on cloud nine. Meeting Mike and Ron was like the icing on the cake for that week. I remember being SO excited I couldn't even talk. lol. And seeing Jason play for the first time really blew my away! I'm so sad that I'm going to miss them at Soho's this month. It's my favorite place! But I know all you farmers will have a great time and share your stories, reviews and pictures with us. So I'm happy for that! Susan, you're coming to CA in January. It was so much fun to see Mudcrutch in that same theater so many years later. The Dirty Knobs shows are my favorite concerts to go to. It's a different show every time. I love it! Magnolia 171 Report post Posted August 9, 2012 I think the original lineup was essentially "The Heartbreakers", not really "Dirty Knobs", you know what I mean? I don't know how or why the change came about but I remember at the time I was a little disappointed. I quickly learned to love the new lineup though. They are a band in their own right.
