In an interview with George, Tom and Jeff, George mentioned writing songs at the kitchen table after supper each night in LA. He said they started strumming their guitars and Tom and Bob just started thowing lines at each other for the lyrics. George looked at Jeff and neither knew what was going on and just shut up and let Tom and Bob go at it. The song ended up being called "Tweeter and the monkey man". I'd love to hear Tom and Bob do that together with The Hearbreakers backing up. I'd probably need and interpreter to understand Tom and Bob's mumbling.....lol. J/K guys.
