Rick 156 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Way too hard to pick. So much choice in the Chicago area, from dives to real dining....with a preference for dives. Now that summer's here, I'd vote for Al's #1 Italian Beef, followed by Mario's Italian Ice, both on Taylor Street.
Amber 70 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Anywhere anyone will go. I order chicken everywhere I go anyway. We are limited in my neck of the woods. We often go to St. Mary's Seafood....the fried mushrooms are pretty good. Cole slaw is good. The rest is adequate.
WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 The one I am thinking of right now is Tea & Sympathy. It is a British restaurant in Greenwich Village, NYC, and I love how it looks and feels inside. The food is great! I need to go back... http://www.teaandsympathynewyork.com/restaurant.php

DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Just depends on my mood, but I enjoy the local Italian restaurant. Logan's Roadhouse has the best ribs! Zaxby's and Wendy's are my usual go-tos during lunch.
asakitten 13 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 It just depends on what I want to eat.
SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Maria's Family Restaurant in Green Bay. The best Mexican food I've ever had.
agirl 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 In Sacramento there is so many. Like everyone else it depends on my mood. BJ's is always good. I went there last night with Sharon. Zocolos has the best Mexican food. When we're in LA I love Los Tacos and Roscoes is always great for waffles and chicken.
LizzieB 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 t'afia. It's very modern in style and the food is sourced locally as much as possible, so very delicious. And I love the chef as much as her food.
Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Tough one. I'll say Filomena's.
Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 It really does depend on what I'm in the mood for. If I could still eat like I use to I'd say The Apple restaurant in San Luis Obispo. Delicious comfort food and big helpings. Oh yes and Teller's in Lawrence, Ks would be a very close second.
Marion 1,411 Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Well, there are some darn good restaurants over in Flagler Beach and Teller's in Lawrence ranks right up there too! I can't pick. I wish we had some good local restaurants that I could call my favorite. There is Beef O'Bradys but that's a chain and Tellers is way better than that! Yeah, I can't pick. Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 ^ Marion, I was going to mention Flagler. They really do have some great family owned restaurants. And of course Beef O'Bradys and Sonny's are tops on my list.
AngelDream 16 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 Really depends on the mood I'm in too...if I want buffet it has to be Brown's Restaurant which is about 45 miles from the house, they serve all home cooking. Applebee's is my choice for sit down restaurant with a menu, love their steaks and grilled shrimp.
