Question of the day 5/17/12

Recommended Posts

I would say the best would be when I saw TPATH in late '91. I had 10th row seats. (I had purchased that ticket separately. The pair of tickets I had were for lousy seats and I made my boyfriend at the time sit with my mom, lol). Tom and the guys put on a great show. Very visually stimulating and (as usual) very entertaining and wonderful musically.

Wow, great question....and I have sure been to some epic concerts....Cream Reunion....Eric and Steve Winwood....Eric and Jeff Beck...Jeff Beck....yes, TPATH...

But I am going to say....September 6, 1977....Garden State Arts Center.....Jackson Browne with The Section opening....I had Lawn Seats....had come back from 4 months in Mexico playing and playing that cassette Late For The Sky (had no idea what Jackson looked like until I went to Harmony House and got the album!) I was so excited he was playing pretty close to me....yes, that is the show

TPATH the Vic 2003. (saw two but the one where I was literally in front of Tom, could have reached out and touched him, is numero uno).

P.S. I agree about Paul McCartney (second best show I've ever seen) and the Stones were crazy awesome, too.

It's hard to pick a favorite but I would have to say Northridge 2011, front row, Mike's side, no barrier, no rail, no security. i could easily touch the stage. Mike bent down and played right in front of me.

Now my most favorite I am thinking is Mansfield, Ma, 1991 when i went to my first TP concert. as the story goes I left there that night and never was the same again!

Wow, can I pick a best? I must list a few. Probably my favorite was Ray Davies at Royal Albert Hall. 99% was the venue and the other 99% was seeing Ray Davies. It was such a high. Next would be TPATH at the Summit in 1983, even though my seats were crappy. I was just so happy to be there. Seeing Buffalo Springfield at Bonnaroo last year was so amazingly great! Finally, Ryan Adams in Houston in 2006. I went in mildly interested in the band and I left a changed person. I've been in love with RA and the rest of The Cardinals ever since!

Usually, I always say the last concert I went to was the best. I'm a live music junkie!
