And when I just need a trim - my dad will do it in his backyard. He's a furniture maker, not a hairdresser, but he can cut a very straight line every time! nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted February 27, 2012 I've been going to the same barber for 39 years this August. I walked in his grandfathers shop Aug 31, 1973 and have been going there ever since. Last Aug 31st I made an appointment and when I walked in I said "Happy Anniversary", he was dumbfounded and thought it was my anniversary. I said "no, it's our anniversary, I 1st came here 38 years ago today for a haircut." He remembered it well, because it was his 1st day on the job!!!
