Rick 156 Report post Posted December 25, 2011 There's nothing at all that I need, so what I got was amazing and a total surprise....a stand mixer and an ice cream maker attachment.

Amber 70 Report post Posted December 25, 2011 Didn't ask for anything....so I got everything I asked for, LOL! I am so fortunate year-around and buy whatever I can afford when I want or need it. If I don't have it, it is because we can't afford it.

kira 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2011 Barf Boy is still sleeping since he worked all night so we haven't opened gifts. I know he got me a Kindle Fire. The challenge will be can I learn it.

SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 I got both of my boys home for Christmas which is my Christmas wish, but now they're gone already. The visit was way too short. I was SO happy this morning with both of my boys snug in their beds under my roof. What a good feeling! I miss those times so much. It's so hard having an empty nest. But I have to be grateful for the time I had with them.
Beamish 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 Not a thing, because I don't do gifts at Christmas. I just like to keep it low-key and enjoy the time with my friends.

wild1forever 152 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 Yes, but it wasn't something from a store. My son's friend was shockingly, happily adopted into a new home on Friday! Best news EVER. :003: On top of that, our daughter is home to share the holidays with us.
TomFest 576 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 I didn't really want anything in particular, but I got to spend a lot of time with family, so I voted yes.
Softanimal 7 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 Yes, and more than that, so I am not disappointed. My uncle even gave me a dvd with Tom Petty live in Chicago. It is home-made...

kira 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 The really cool thing about Christmas this year was that it was so low-key. Barf Boy worked. My folks went to Corpus Christi to visit brother. I cooked dinner and invited Freaked-Out Frank to come and eat with us. Much easier to cook for three than for eight or nine.
