Most of the time, I can distinguish an ambulance siren from a firetruck siren though. I don't usually think of the police. Our tornado alarms are that loud one tone booming noise. That deep RWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RWAAAAAAAAAAAAA instead of the RUWARUWARUWA-WEEOOP-WEEOOP-RUWARUWARUWARUWA like ambulances or firetrucks. But firetrucks sound more like RUUUUWARUUUUUWARUUUWABON!BON!RUUUUWAAARUUUWAAABON!BON! I swear...
