nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted November 25, 2011 I sure have. Most are closed now, the only one I can think of that is still open is about 30 miles away!! We had a lot of them, the closest was up the hill about 1-2 miles from me. When we were young teens, we'd go there to meet other friends. Across the street were 3 bars (still there, but are now strip clubs) and we'd meet there and get beer and then 2 people would get in the car to enter the drive in, while about 5-6 others would get in the trunk to sneak in free.....lol. My aunt works at a very small theater (one screen) and the people that own it own another theater and a drive in theater. I always thought it would be cool to go to a drive-in. We packed every person we could in my friend's camaro or my chevy belair and had a ball!!! We drove off with the speaker once....we were a little wasted. It was so much fun back in the day!
