AngelDream 16 Report post Posted October 8, 2011 Financial security is a PLUS but gotta love them as well, so I voted no. As the Beatles song says: "I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love"

Amber 70 Report post Posted October 8, 2011 It wouldn't deter me. I would have to respect the person and enjoy the relationship. money alone is not enough to make it work. Now, if it was a marriage just in name only and he was very generous with the money......but nah...everyone needs love in their lives....still don't think it would work. Once of the greatest things in life is give and receive love. Wow, guess I am a romantic after all. Who knew? :icon_wink:

AmyLou 5 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 Hard to say since I'm already VERY married, and lord knows we had nothing when we started, but I know I'd have a problem marrying someone who is consistently unable to remain financially secure, like a chronically under/unemployed guy. Not so much for the money, but for what it might say about his practicality and work ethic.
