nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted September 5, 2012 YW, I was at George's show at the Spectrum in Philly in 1974. When he got to America for the tour, he did so many recordings with others and practiced so hard, he lost his voice, which is also heard on the "Darkhorse" LP. He was a busy man at that time and it took it's toll on his voice for the tour. I THINK my show was set for the last of Nov, but a snow storm in Philly delayed it until Dec 2nd. I have a full photo album of 8X10s of pix I took from that show that are amazing. I never posted them, cuz I didn't want them stolen. I still remember using my friends Pentax cam with an 800 times zoom and got great pix. That was a great show that I will never forget!!!!!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Capitol Records was famous at that time for holding back a few songs from each official release to "MAKE" another album for USA sales to make more money!!! Imagine that!!!!!!!!!!
