Marion 1,411 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I am thankful that I have tomorrow off! I am also thankful that my son and his family returned to Florida and they are back in our lives. I am also very thankful to have so many close friends at this time in my life. Funny, nobody could have told me how blessed I would be with friendships when I was in high school and had like two friends. haha! Life is good! WildflowerNJ 136 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 ^ Marion, and we all love you, too  I am thankful for so many things..the first being my husband going through all that treatment and being so strong. He was always such a strong man and it really did help him get through all of that. So many others would have given up. Not him. He is my hero.... Thankful for the many friends I have that I have enjoyed great times with (you all rock!) and thankful for the friends I have yet to meet. So many inspiring people who are doing their best to bring change to so many animals in need. It is going to be a great New Year and I am so ready for it..bring it on!! :003:

LizzieB 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I'm thankful for coffee (hee hee hee, really, I am). And live rock 'n' roll, it feeds my soul. I'm thankful for being born in a time and place where I can choose to do the things that make me happy and fulfilled. And mostly I'm so thankful for the current good health of all my immediate family.
Sugar 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I am thankful for all the little things I take for granted most day. With four teenage drivers out there, I am thankful they come home safe everynight:) I am thankful for my youngest daughter being able to come off her seizure medication. She is like a new person. I agree Lizzie, live rock n roll does feed the soul:)
Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 ^ LOL @ Coffee, but yes, I SOOO agree. I'm just thankful to be alive to enjoy my family and friends. Who would have ever thought that my best friends in life would be everyone I have and haven't yet met, online? That my husband and daughters are healthy and happy. That the music that makes me smile and fulfills me is alive and well and that I have the opportunity to see them live. And for my special little co-worker. He's like my adopted son. I'm grateful that he and his family are in my life.
Yer so bad 4 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I love to read all the comments, it´s really important to be grateful and to remember all the good things we have, people use to focus on their problems, but they don´t see the sun behind the clouds! Thank God for my family, I miss a lot my father but I´m so happy of having such a wonderful and strong mother and a beautiful and talented sister. I´m thankful for my friends, they aren´t a lot, but they are all I need. I´m thankful for the extraordinary artists who changed and improved my life with their music. And I´m thankful, of course, to be a farmer! Despite of the distances, you guys make me feel I´m close to you sharing our madness for good music! AngelDream 16 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 First & foremost I'm thankful for my mom being alive, it was so scary I would lose her this year but she's 87 and going strong again. I'm thankful too for all my friends here online. We have chatted for over 10 years and have met in person and have enjoyed our favorite band and all the music, you all mean sooo much to me and I'm thankful I know you and proud to say you are my friends. I'm thankful also for my health and the health of all my family & friends that are near to me here, we might have had a rough 2010, but 2011 will be great, I can feel it!! Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I'm thankful, YES thankful, for my job. Even though, I would retire tomorrow in a heartbeat if I could. I am SO thankful for my health. And, for the health & happiness of my family and friends. I'm thankful that I have so many people who love and care about me. That's a huge blessing! I'm thankful that I have been priviledged to have some of the BEST DAMN FRIENDS anyone could ask for! I don't know what I did to deserve such extraordinary people in my life. And, I treasure every moment I spend with them all. I'm thankful that I have a close and loving family. And, that we love being together just laughing and having a good time. And, I'm thankful for the invention of hot white mocha with whip! I am also thankful that I have sense enough to know to be thankful. I look around me and so many people don't get IT. I always say even with all of lifes ups and downs, it sure beats the hell out of the alternative, death.

AndreaM 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 Specific to this particular Thursday, I'm thankful I was finally able to get out of the house (we've been basically snowed in), get my current car up to the dealer for an estimate, and buy a new car, which should come in right in time for my current car to get into the shop. Once that comes back, hubby's car goes into the shop to get prettied up for his daughter. Once that comes back, she gets his car, he keeps my car, and the three car merry-go-round comes to an end.
