Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 On the Food Network Channel, they have a series called "The Best Thing I Ever Ate", then go on to say something like "on a stick". Various guest chefs then go on to discuss their favorite in that one food category. So....I thought, why not? Let's ask a few of these for our Question of the Day. THE BEST THING I EVER ATE - Last Supper What would you want for your last supper?
Softanimal 7 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 Lasagna with salad. I would want pineapple in the salad! Then pancakes with vanila ice. And melted chocolate on top of that.
Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I love this show! Watch it all the time! It's so funny too that you asked this question, we were JUST talking about this the other night. It's a toughie, there are so many great foods I love. But, I would have to go with the No Name Burrito, with blackened chicken, from Los Amigos Restaurant in Atlantic City. Mmmmm, it's just sooooo good!

SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 A perfectly made Indian lobster curry with lentils and garlic naan, and New York cheesecake for dessert. (I've never seen lobster curry, but if you can make beef, lamb, chicken, or shrimp, why not lobster?)
LizzieB 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 A cheese enchilada plate with chips, salsa and guacamole, and a bunch of handmade corn tortillas from Mexican Manhattan in San Antonio. Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I want my Dad's signature fried chicken & pork chops, plain white rice with butter, his famous smothered cabbage and hot water cornbread. Magnolia 171 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I love this show too, Patty! Hmm, for my last supper I'd have all my favorites: really good homemade mashed potatoes, tortilla chips with Ellyn's salsa, a slice of pizza from Beth's beach (sounds tasty!) brownies and I'll join Lisa in that Long Island Ice Tea. I've sworn off of those suckers but if it's my last....!

Amber 70 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 Goodness, I do not know!~ So many to choose from. I don't have a favorite restaurant. Not much to choose from around here. I guess it would be my own chicken alfredo, unless I could go back in time and have my grandmother's fried chicken or pot roast.

AndreaM 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 ^^Yes, I'd love to go back and have my mom's pot roast and gravy (her gravy was amazing), mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. I'd put so much gravy on everything, it looked like soup!
