You can make a tooth brush from plants. I choose mouthwash because it has alcohol in it that can disinfect wounds or utensils. You can also use it as a water bottle.

I said other - dental floss. I may be on an island, but I still want to keep all my teeth. My (orthodontist) sister-in-law once told me if I ever had to choose between flossing and brushing, flossing is more important.
