AndreaM 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2010 I voted Other As the unmarried (at the time) of two siblings with no children, I was 'volunteered' to take care of my father, who I've never had a great relationship with. Luckily, I now have a hubby who took me on despite this obstacle, though the only time we're ever alone is on vacation, or when Dad's in the hospital. Eventually, I'd love to do something with cats or kittens, maybe help in a shelter, or foster, or trap/neuter/release neighborhood strays.

AmyLou 5 Report post Posted December 21, 2010 I don't know if Boy Scouts, Band Parents Assn. or PTA count as charitable - but that's where I spend my volunteer time.

Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 21, 2010 I didn't personally volunteer my time, it's hard with the hours I work, but I do take supplies down to VIVA, our local cat shelter.
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted December 21, 2010 I contribule to a few charities, but have not been able to physically volunteer lately. Actually, that's bs. I have had time but just haven't gotten out there and done it. This is going to be my New Years resolution. Thanks for the kick in the butt!
Pettyjunkie 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2010 I don't really volunteer. I work with special needs kids already, I don't want to deal with other things to be honest.
