Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 Would you ever tell a loud stranger at a concert to BE QUIET?

SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 I have at a James Taylor concert. The people behind me thought the softer songs were a good opportunity to have conversation. They did shut up for the most part, but the guy behind me kneed me in the back. I wish I could have punched him.
DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 I agree with Mud, depends on the concert.

agirl 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 I've learned it doesn't do any good. If they're drunk, and they usually are, it makes matters worse.
Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 Depends on the concert. I still remember when our Anna (Annaconda69) told some drunk yuppies at a Dirty Knob gig at Sweetwater in Mill Valley, to shut the f*&k up when Mike Campbell and Jason Sinay were playing acoustically some great songs. Everyone else in the bar had enough sense and respect to keep it down, but not these folks. So...Anna took it upon herself to stand up and yell, LOL!! It was great. Fortunately, I've never really encountered that problem. Now, pit crashers is another story. But, we won't even go there.
Tom Petty's ChickenNugget 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 It really does depend on the concert, and HOW they are being loud. Personally, I like to be so up front and close to the speakers that I can't hear you if your standing next to me yelling. :003:
Trishia4 28 Report post Posted December 19, 2010 Maybe, it depends on the circumstances.
Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 19, 2010 I loved it when Anna did that. I sure miss that girl. Actually the loudness and yelling doesn't annoy me nearly as much as some other things. Like going back and forth to get beer then having to go back and forth to pee out the beer AND then acting like a drunk obnoxious idiot!
Beamish 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2010 Depends on the situation.
