Not likely. I am not putting down the profession of chiropractors, but it seems my mom has had all kind of trouble with her back/neck ever since she started seeing one like 15 years ago.. She's had to have quite a few surgeries (neck/wrist, I don't remember what else) the past couple of years. I think it was because of that. Again, not putting the profession down. Perhaps this is an isolated case.

I have bad experience from a chiropractor, however I am sure they can do much good in some cases.

For myself, though, the one I tried cost me a fortune and after seeing my doctor and had my back Xrayed we found the chiropractor was dead wrong and there is nothing anyone can do about my short discs in my back. Sorry, from that experience I choose a physician first.

No experience from healers...... (don't shoot me) but I don't really believe in them.

I've never been to a chiropractor, but I think I would try it if I had a problem that I needed help for. (I'm very thankful that I don't have any issues currently!) I really don't like to take medication for pain, so I would try the alternatives first.

^My cat Purr just did this!

Very likely. I've been seeing a chiropractor for years. My neck is long and doesn't have a normal curve. I get migraines for many reasons, and that's one of them, when my neck goes way out. I had bad experiences with two different offices, but the right one has really made a difference.

I've also seen a very good acupuncturist, but haven't had to go in years. I had a horrible pain down my left arm, from my elbow to my thumb, and it would tingle. A regular doctor took Xrays, found nothing wrong, and gave me pain pills (the night ones had codeine cause it would wake me up). The chiropractor tried to help, also, but it didn't work. In desperation (I was having trouble doing my job), I went to the acupuncturist. As with anything, you have to be very specific in describing your symptoms. The first visit helped some, and the second visit nailed the problem (pun intended)! No pain there since!:003:

If it helps and doesn't cost more than our national debt for an appointment, then I'll consider alternative treatments. Add me to the list of people who haven't had any success with chiropractic, but massage has been helpful for me.
