Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 Eric Clapton has lined up an eight-city tour of North America to support his recently released album, "Clapton." The tour, which will stick to cities in the West, is set to launch Feb. 25 in Vancouver, and will end with a two-night stand in Los Angeles, March 8-9. Clapton will kick off his touring season with previously announced February dates in Singapore and Hong Kong. A tour of Ireland and the U.K. will follow the North American leg. The new album was produced by guitarist and longtime Clapton collaborator Doyle Bramhall II, and includes collaborations with JJ Cale, drummer Jim Keltner, bassist Willie Weeks and keyboardist Walt Richmond. Also involved in the album's recording sessions were Steve Winwood, Wynton Marsalis, Sheryl Crow, Allen Toussaint, and Derek Trucks. Clapton's touring group for the upcoming tour will be comprised of Steve Gadd (drums), Weeks, Chris Stainton (keyboards), and backing vocalists Michelle John and Sharon White. Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 Arco Arena, Ugh! No way! But I really might pick up a ticket for the Gibson Amphitheater show in March. I really enjoyed seeing Heart there a couple of years ago.

Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 ^^Hey Lotta, wanna be my date again? LOL! The tickets go on sale Monday. Now correct me if I'm wrong, I see the 8th and 9th for Gibson. But when I go to Live Nation website they only have one date. Wonder what's up with that?
