Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 I really wish my niece would see what her indecisiveness is doing to her daughter. It's so frustrating.
Starfish 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 No real gripe - just a slight concern about the weather affecting my flight later today.
AmyLou 5 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 I hate not knowing if/when we will hear about this Japan (now France?) thing.
conmae 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 Not looking forward to tonight and a house full of kids-especially after what that one little snot pulled on Thanksgiving.
Magnolia 171 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 ^ Ohhh, AmyLou, how exciting and scary at the same time! Hope you hear soon so you can start planning. Of course, we'll expect a Mudcrutch Farm reunion over there with all of us invited. LOL
SingsInFrench 262 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 The do-nothing Senate and House seems like the biggest drain on the federal budget. Their pay should be tied to their results. Merit pay is a good idea for our representatives not just teachers.
Pawie 6 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 Can the days this week possibly be 32 hours instead of 24, Please??
AngelDream 16 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 ^ was thinking the very same thing, Lotta! I've got sooo much to do and not enough time to do it all.
wild1forever 152 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 This isn't a huge gripe, but I'm in pursuit of another job right now and I really hate the waiting game.
weird monkey 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 I miss my troubadour, and hope he's back before I have to leave myself.
agirl 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 We have a rat or two in our garage. It's been freezing out and they moved in. I am so freaked out. My neighbor put out a trap and nothing. The pest guy is coming this morning to put out bait. I am so rat phobic. My daughter has to back the car out and I walk around to the front to get in. LizzieB 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 (((Toni))). Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I would like my husband to go back to work. It's not a problem financially, but is emotionally draining at this point.

Refugee 7 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 Playing phone tag.
weird monkey 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 :099:Playing phone tag with crappy cell phone reception at either end, on opposite sides of the country! If he stands in the vestibule (is that what them Easterners call a porch, lol) and holds very still, and I stand by my propane tank and face east, being careful not to block my phone's internal antenna with my finger, we can have a 2 minute conversation before the connection gets garbled, then drops. jawallac 48 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 When you're promised one wonderful thing, document that promise, and at a later date, the promise is reneged. Urghh!
nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 ^ that's the problem today. a promise is for that moment only. if you want to document it, that moment is over and so is the promise! this is 2010, not 1950.
Amber 70 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 My gripe is people having excuses for everything...had a student contact me that HER SISTER is pregnant and due any day which may cause the student to not be able to make the dates posted on the last exam and final exam. WHAT??? I told her....if it isn't YOU in labor, it don't count. Good grief! They have a 3 days time span to take a test. How did people get to the point where everything revolves around their personal lives? The world is supposed to be put on hold for every little thing. Then again, I once had a student who called me from the labor room to tell me she wouldn't be in class the next day (Friday). I could hear the doctor telling her to push, lol! I told her she could have gotten her husband to call, you know. He wasn't doing anything. She was back in class the following Monday. Now that's work ethic! nurktwin 2,143 Report post Posted December 2, 2010 ^no, that's not work ethic, that was bullshit that they pulled over your eyes. wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't wanna be sick! (Who does, right? LOL!)

Juliads 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2010 wishing i could shake this foul mood off of me. Wishing that i could control my sleep schedule, i'm scared my insomnia is returning. Wishing that the media would focus more on what is in the documents that wikileaks has revealed. Also wish that S.510 will not pass!
