Echosoftom 3 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 Never been big on poetry. Which is weird because I love song lyrics. I went to a poetry reading once and it about bored me to tears.

DCAHNM 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 I love a good haiku... remember when we used to write them here? lol I so remember that from back in the day! I really don't care for poetry... unless it's funny. I mean funny in a obvious, slapstick kinda way.

LizzieB 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 As much as I want to, I cannot get into poetry. There is the odd work that moves me, but like Sharon, most of it bores me.

Patty Petty 9 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 I like funny limericks. When I worked at the casino, if we got a dead craps game, we'd all play games and such. One of the games involved making up funny limericks about fellow coworkers. One I had thought of back then was about this dealer who was such a snobby b*tch, constantly staring in the mirrors above the game at herself. It was so ridiculous. She thinks she's all that And nobody else is She's staring in the mirror again It's Cassandra Rodriguez!

jawallac 48 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 Other. I don't "love" any of those particular styles. I enjoy poetry, write poetry, read poetry...
Amber 70 Report post Posted December 1, 2010 I love poetry. Used to write some back in the days when I had time for it. Won the creative writing award in high school from the literary magazine, lol! I like all kinds so I chose other. No particular style...just has to touch me for some reason. I think that is one of the reasons I like Tom's lyrics so much -- very poetic -- very interpretive. Why is it I teach college science and chemistry? Because that is where the money is. My heart is in the arts though.
