It’s a day of thanks. Some people write down something to be thankful for every day and then read them today. What about you? Do you do anything like that? Will you go around the dinner table with your family and/or friends and say what you are thankful for on this day?

Everyday here is a day of thanks...but I know writing the things you are thankful for is some people's tradition. No, we never did that...but there is/was always a prayer (words about the day)

I am wishing my Farmers friends a day of love....enjoy this one...

This will be he first Thanksgiving with both my kids present, and we are having a traditional dinner. I like the idea to go round the table and say what we are thankful for.

We always have a prayer of blessings before dinner. But just before that, anyone who would like to share what they are thankful for is welcome to do so. Sometimes it can get very emotional.

We do none of that. I don't believe we need a special day to give thanks.

We don't do any of that with my family. But at my dinning hall last week we had our "thanksgiving dinner" and my friends and I all went around and said what we were thankful for.

We don't do anything like that on Thanksgiving ... but I keep a gratitude journal, and find something new to be thankful for every day.

Yes, we often say a prayer, and also each take turns saying what we're thankful for. Very nice way to express gratitude with those you love.

We are totally laid back. If someone wants to share that's cool, but we eat buffet style on paper plates. When I was little, I always felt the hand holding prayer to be awkward. All my relatives where the kind that turned me off to that kind of thing.
