Refugee 7 Report post Posted November 24, 2010 Keith Urban will spend most of next year traveling around the world with a brand-new concert experience in support of his just-released sixth studio set, "Get Closer." The country superstar will kick off the U.S. portion of the roadwork with a June 16 performance in Mobile, AL. The 44-date arena run works its way from the East Coast to the West over the course of five months, wrapping up Oct. 15 in Minneapolis, MN. The full schedule is shown at right. Ticket sales will take place in waves, the first of which hits in mid-February, according to Urban's website. The New Zealand-born musician will perform songs from his seventh album, "Get Closer," which hit shelves last week (11/16), as well as chart-topping singles from previous sets, such as 2006's "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing." "Playing live is what it's always been about for me," Urban explained in his tour announcement posted at his website. "It's the joy, the electricity, the unexpected, the passion and the unknown journey that we're all taking together." The latest effort's lead single, "Put You in a Song," hit airwaves in September and debuted at No. 29 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
