Do you have a shoe fetish? How often do you buy new shoes? Do you ever get rid of a pair of shoes?

Not really....I buy shoes when I need them or want something different. Just bought 3 new pairs of boots. One, a pair of Wellies from LL Bean, a cool black high boot to wear in the city when it snows/rains and another boot that is practical in the snow here. It seems the only shoes I get rid of are slippers and my everyday shoes.....for the house and yard...they get the most wear. I have a pair of Etienne Aigner high heels I bought is the early 80's...I still wear them when I go out. They are beautiful and so well made. Remember when people had shoe shine kits? I wish I still had my Dad's....it was a little box with all the brushes and different color polishes. I have a few but no box....I should make one up. I guess some people now just throw away shoes....

Same here, just buy when I need them and throw out the old ones....doing good right now, have plenty of everything. I love tenny shoes tho, have several 609 New Balance shoes that I wear everyday and high heel boots and flats that I wear for going out.

I used to be a shoe horse. Although, every now and then I have fetish flashbacks. For instance, I sure wish I wore Barb's (Magnolia) shoe size. If I did, she'd be without a certain pair of shoes I saw her in a couple of weeks ago.

But for the most part I go for comfort.

^ I KNOW! I LOVE those shoes! The photographer took a picture of them (well, I asked him to, LOL) so I'll post it when we get the pix back. I wish I had more places to wear them, though!

I'm in flip-flops most often around here or doing errands. Boots when it's cold or rainy and then my running shoes. Those wear out most often so I replace them about twice a year usually.

I'm simple, I HATE shoes. I wish I could go barefoot all the time, lol. The only pair of shoes I really wear out, is my work shoes. I buy at least 3 pairs a year. I'm on my feet constantly at work, so comfort is first and foremost. So happy we can wear nice athletic shoes now for work. I have two pairs of New Balances that I switched back and forth with for work. As for the rest of the time, I am in sandals. I am very picky about my sandals. I buy Mephisto's. I have two black pair and one white pair. They last forever. If my shoes are worn and start to hurt my feet, they go in the trash.

I have my ankle high gogoboots. and I have some tan cowboy boots like Tom wore in the seventies... yes, that high. But I'm mostly a converse sneaker person. I hace some suede boots that are brown--very comfey. I have some combat boots and some yellow work boots like Tom had in the nineties. I don't buy shoes all the time. But if I'm like "Well, I'm going to have to get these boots if I want to be cool like Tom..."

I don't own any running sneakers like Addias or Nike. I'm too cool for that.

Mmmmnn... I have some houndstooth print rainboots that I got and they look like a round version of the shoes Tom wore in the mad Hatter video. lol. They are my winter boots. I bought them the same day I bought my rabbit. Lil' Heartbreaker. RIP.

I have a running shoe fetish, especially when it comes to racing flats. I find myself going in to running stores and looking at them even when I don't need them. Other kinds of shoes, I don't care.

I have got several shoes, but I am not a fetish. As long as the shoes are cheap and I don't wear the same pair all the time, then I am satisfied!
