Recommended Posts

Yes, quite a few times. In grammar school, I was Goldilocks (only girl in the class with long blonde hair, lol) In ballet, I was in a few recitals....in church, I was in the Motion Choir...my favorite time for being on stage was when I was rockin out with Robert Randolph at The Stone Pony....very cool!!!! :003:

Did wait in line once to be a Extra in that Amityville movie when they filmed in Toms River..no audition, though...

I sang mostly in Church until I rebelled at 13 and refused to go anymore. But once, I sang in a high school show. I had terrible stage fright and it traumatized me for life. I never minded singing background like in our church choir or other school performances but I hated being up front by myself. I think I was trying to prove something to myself that day. Even though everyone told me I did great, I never tried that again.

Yeah, a few times for school things and recitals. I never did enjoy it, but I think it's good preparation for the times in adult life when you need to put yourself out there, for whatever reason, personal or business.

Yes. I auditioned for chorus in college and an "Operetta" in middle school. Got both. Was an Italian girl in an orphanage. Was in a lot of plays in school. I used to love it. I played an old lady in a play in college. Have had to speak in front of people a lot in my job. I don't like speaking much. I would much rather play a part - acting is easier than being yourself. ^Pawie, we could do a duet, lol!

Yes, I was in ballet and recitals when young, also piano guilds and competition. Always in some sort of pageant.

In Junior High, I was in Drama. I was in 'He Died With Boots On', I played the mom, lol.

In Senior High, I was very active in Drama, gave up varsity tennis for it. I was in several plays, the best one, 'Take Her, She's Mine'.

In Junior College, at Allan Hancock, they have a great theatrical department and two major theatres. The PCPA, has a theatre at Allan Hancock and in Solvang. I was involved in the play, 'The Petrified Forrest' that starred resident actors, Mark Harelik (whom you have seen on Seinfeld) and Powers Boothe. Mark had Leslie Howard's role and Powers had Humphrey Bogart's. Lots of hard work but it was sure fun.

I majored in Drama in college so I was in lots of plays. It was SO much fun. I loved every minute of it.

Then there was my stint as an extra in everyone's favorite movie: Bring It On. Ha ha! That was a blast, too. I even got paid.

I am just too boring for this thread! I do remember doing a gymnastics show and I was dressed as a clown tumbling and making people laugh. I got a kick out of that. I played piano in recitals, but I wasn't that good in my opinion. It just wasn't my thing. I showed horses alot, so that sucked up most of my down time.
