so my BFF's husband will find out tomorrow if the lesion on his spine is a symptom of either dormat OR malignant myeloma. I'm voting for dormant. This would be four out of the eight houses on our cul-de-sac with cancer now. Sworn to secrecy so I'm venting it here. Thanks guys!I'd be inclined to do some investigating there to see if something isn't right with the land the homes are built on, or something iffy in building materials used. That sounds very peculiar.

Yes for sure. But I'd need alot of money to get the best surgeon.

I have never texted in my life. I have an extremely basic cell phone. I have neither the need or the money to buy/use an expensive blackberry etc. I used to use IM but haven't done in years now.

^ no. I just happen to have a bottle of ginger beer in front of me. The WD bought a few bottles of strange brews and here is what it says on the bottle of ginger beer. 8 ounce serving: 110 calories, 0 fat, 35mg sodium, 27g total carb, 26g sugar, 0g protein. In small print: not a significant source of other nutrients. Percent daily values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet.If you've never tried Ginger Beer try it. It's amazing. It's very popular in England and we can buy it here too, the Jamaican Ginger Beer is fantastic. Try it with a dark rum -----yum!

First of all, What Friends? LOL. But yes, I'm the sunniest, most positive you could ever meet! hahahah.
No, I'm sure everyone would consider me extremely negative. I would beg to differ though. I wouldn't call myself negative exactly, but a realist. I don't live in a dream world or wear rose tinted glasses. I know how everything is. I mean say for instance, (God Forbid), I was diagnosed with cancer in my left leg....everyone would try to jolly me up by saying..."Could be worse - could be both legs". At which I would reply, "Are you for real?" It's CANCER in my leg, they'll probably amputate it, put me on radiation and chemo, I'll lose my hair, I'll puff up like the Mitchelin man and will likely die in any case. Realist, that's me.

I'm a very sleepy person and don't normally have any trouble falling asleep, my problem is STAYING asleep, I wake up alot. I do prefer some noise though, wind blowing in the trees and thunder and pouring rain are my favourites.

It's always nice to take them to the CN Tower if they've never been before. The view is amazing as is the ride to the top in the glass elevator. We'd also have lunch or dinner in the slowly revolving restaurant up high. It's spectacular in the evening if there is a serious thunderstorm.

I confess it was great to see Fernando Alonso so happy. All smiling and laughing even though he came in 3rd. The Italian crowd went crazy though, you could hear them all calling his name the whole time he was on the podium.

Pancakes, we eat them with pure Canadian Maple syrup. But I also like them the English way, simply with lemon and sugar.

"Barefoot in the Park" with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. An old movie but I love it. It always makes me laugh and I love the tiny NY apt they are renting.

I hate that the social worker we've worked with for years is leaving to take another job with the board. I will really miss her. Not too many people that I become very fond of, but I really liked her alot. She was so interesting with a great sense of humour and I'm sorry to see her go
