    Just went to a wonderful one last night. The hospital where my wife Linda had her heart transplant threw a party for all of the people who have received transplants and LVADs (that heart pump that Dick Cheney has) over the years. There were around 100 people there, who are alive because of about a half dozen doctors. It was incredible.

    Eventually we'll have parties with my side of the family and Linda's, on different days.

    Yikes, I remember when it was 25 cents a gallon and I was too young to have a car, so we'd all get together and throw in a nickle to get 25=50 cents worth of gas and ride around all night if anyone had a car!!!!

    Those were the days. I remember when a dollar would fill up the tank of my motorcycle and get me a pack of Marlboros.

    I buy my beans from a little place in Arizona called Old Bisbee Roasters. Every month I get a pound each of two different coffees. It's great coffee and I get to try something new every two weeks all year round. And it's very affordable...comes out to less than a dollar a day.
