I'm just sitting here looking out the window at the first snow of the season. Usually we have snow before Thanksgiving here in Chicagoland. Pretty amazing that we got through a third of the snowy season without any!!!!

I'd have to say that I enjoy listening to music from their era, but I'll bet they never listened to what I like from that era themselves!!! (Perry Como & Mario Lanza vs. Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters).

My parents had one, and my sister has one, and when I see what they go through to keep it clean and warm, I think I'm glad I've never had one.

We've had three dogs, all female Golden Retrievers. Our present dog is named Willow.

When I bought the Neil Young Archives Vol. 1, all of the CDs came in cardboard sleeves, and the glue from the sleeves stuck to most of the discs. So when I took the CDs out, I literally had to pull them out and ended up with bits of paper stuck on with glue on each CD . It was horrible trying to clean them without damaging the discs. Considering the price of the box, that should never have happened.

Oh my.....I've had great BBQ all over the country. But there's one place in Chicago that I go to as often as possible called Smoque. I'll put their BBQ against anywhere else I've had it.

Thanks, everyone. It was a great one. Some friends took me out for lunch, I went to dinner with my brother and sister, and then for a grand finale, a good friend from high school took me to our favorite pub, where they wouldn't let me pay for drinks and gave me a Guinness brownie with a candle!!

We live in a ranch on a slab, so I almost never walk stairs.
