Alice Cooper's Band = one huge ego, a few little egos scattered here and there. Led Zep = 3 1/2 huge egos, 1/2 a little ego shoved under the drum kit. Huge difference.

Lotta, your pictures are great - you've definitely got 'the eye'! :023: It was tough to take pictures there, both narrow and crowded. (I have another set I'll post later.)

I can resize them, if I knew the file size limit. The uploader says "no file size limit'. The ones I have been loading have varied between 776 KB and 524 KB. I've almost got the first set loaded anyway, although it's been tedious.

I've been trying to upload photos since yesterday evening, and the uploader stalls out completely if I try to load more than one image file at a time, and it takes several attempts to upload just a single one. Anything I can do from my end to make it work? I am using Safari 5.0.2 and OS X 10.5.8

No. I even had a friend who called just to complain the other day because she always calls me, but I never call her. I promised to do better, but I know I told her a long time ago that I am bad at making calls.

Never! Jason really put on a great show - from the minute we walked in the door, it was non stop fun all night! The photo uploader doesn't seem to be working for me. I'll try again tomorrow. Right now I'm really tired and sick of feeling sick.

Lizzie. Ironically, public restrooms are probably the cleanest of them all, because they have to be cleaned regularly, are built to be cleaned, and usually are . Also there is soap and water, so even if the facility is less than sanitary, you can still clean up. I am one of those people who travels with her own pillow. Mainly for comfort's sake (don't be offended if my pillow accompanies me on an overnite at your house!), but knowing that my head is resting with it's own cooties is somehow reassuring too. Yesterday as I walked into the grocery, for the first time, I took advantage of the sanitary wipes at the door to wipe down my cart's handle, and wipe my hands. The thought occurred to me to take enough wipes to wipe down eveything I touched, but I resisted the impulse.

I'm sorry Emily! One of my pet peeves is people who say they will do something, or be somewhere, then they don't. It's as if just saying they will, is as good as actually following through. I think it is very thoughtless and inconsiderate. Bennie, I feel your pain. At least Fed Ex delivers to my post office just a few miles away - surprisingly enough. What's funny is (or not depending on you cynicism meter), is that I order atrist's materials like varnish, mediums, and thinners, and the vendor is not allowed to ship by USPS, which usually means Fed Ex. Then Fed Ex dumps my liquid flammables at my local post office. I also see Fed Ex trucks making deliveries in my neighborhood. Maybe those are 2 day or overnight deliveries. My gripe is that I am still sick with this cold thingie. I feel better during the day, then awful again at night - 3 steps forward, 2 steps back. At least it is forward progress of a sort. I. Must. Be. Well. By. Saturday! :faint:

I hardly ever use the library anymore. My local one has very little to offer. I get books lent from friends, and I can get better research and resource info online.

An hour a day or more. A lot more, but to say "all the time" would be stretching it.

That describes me. Short term, not so much nauseous, but my lower GI starts running laps. Long term I gain weight, because I eat at night after dinner.

Rarely, because it is hard for me to stick to it. There is enough to do on my property that requires some exertion, so that helps. Painting is somewhat active, I paint standing and walk a lot to check my work and 'think things out'.
