I think a close-up of this one will make a nice companion to the Red Jag painting.

^ Yay Lizzie!
I've never been to The Mint, but been by it, and Tim Easton's played there a few times (which probably means little to the rest of you, lol).
Gave bf a Dirty Knobs keychain, which he loved, and then he saw a picture of Mike's 12 string Vox  -the inlays made him foam at the mouth, and there is a particular slant embedded in the fretboard inlays that made him downright giddy (something about giving up a private part of his anatomy to see that guitar, which I must highly contest) - I think he may try to make this one! Hopefully in better shape than he was in for Ape's show at the Joint. Fridays aren't the best nights for him.

1. Name your favorite cold beverage and when was the last time you had it?
Soda water with lime, probably had some last week.
2. Name your favorite hot beverage and when was the last time you had it?
Coffee this morning.
3. Do you consider yourself addicted to caffeine?
Somewhat
4. Take this quiz: What is your coffee personality?
You're cappuccino! Easy-going and calm, you know how to have fun, but you also know how to buckle down and work. So go you! Your life is pretty well balanced, and so is your coffee habit, too. No worries about caffeine addiction here.
5. How do you feel about Starbucks?
There's only one SBs around here and it isn't particularly convenient, I rarely go there.
6. If you could sit down for a cup of coffee or tea with any single person, ask any questions you wanted, who would you choose and why?
Benmont. He just seems to know so much stuff. I think he'd be very interesting to listen to. And funny, I hear he's funny.

Great shots, Marcia. The light really was unforgiving. Next time I'll bring my 1.4 lens.
:095: I had mine and didn't even think to use it. I was further back than at Ape's party, it probably may have worked - although as a stationary lens (no zoom), there may have been too many bodies (and afros and waving hands) in the way. A lot of my shots had one particular person's hands waving right in the middle of them).

It's the Grammies.

Nice pictures! From what I have heard, I would also like to see them play there.

Very nice photos Lotta! Especially that one of Swampfox! He's especialy hard to get a shot of behind the dums. I didn't even try to come down from my perch - partly because this chest crud keeps hanging on, but even though everyone seemed very nice, it was a packed house and everybody seemed to have 'their spot' staked out. My lens wasn't up to it (Steve really spoiled me lending me lenses at other shows!), so I tried different doing different things with mixed results (mostly bad). I did get a good shot of the 12 string, that I think will make a swell painting!
I was knackered Saturday, and busy today - just sitting down and getting online, so I have't had much chance to process image files. Lotta's been busy enough for 6 photographers, so it's all good! I'll try to post a few more tomorrow.

I think this one will make a swell painting. I was thinking this was another Ric, but a close examination of the headstock says Vox. I know Mike talked a bit about it, but I can't remember what he said.

No.
As much as I love music, I don't think I qualify in either category. Compared to others, even my knowledge of music is very limited. I know one person who fits into both categories, and compared to him, what I know wouldn't fill a thimble.

You’ve just come home and have found that your family room sofa has been replaced by a hyperspace bypass?
Who do you think put it there?
Vogons
Will you keep it?
Why not? I think I'll go hitch hiking!

Neat article, thanks for posting it.
My boyfriend's brother teaches Spanish at Exeter.

A velvet coat with the hood 'tail'
A Newport Beach hoodie that's nearly worn out
A pair of comfy cowboy boots which will never wear out

Thanks for bumping the thread for me, Shianne. Those look like really fun hikes, I love the Palm Canyon area!
She's reached 63% of her fundraising goal, folks! :041:

:003: My biggest fear when I met my bf was that he'd either not like cats or be allergic, fortunately he loves cats, and isn't allergic. The first would have been a relationship breaker anyway. I need my kitties so I can revert to Crazy Cat Lady® status if the relationship doesn't work out.

Rarely now. When I lived in a city, I used to go often. Now I live in the country, and the closest half-way decent theater is 35 miles away. This theater still doesn't show a lot of the films I want to see.Same here.

Funny stuff, but Gad! The cigarettes! Does George drink out of his cup in the next segment?

You did well Lotta, the photos are really really nice. I hope the lighting at Harvelle's is at least as good as it was on the 29th. Otherwise I may have to go back to flash - at least for a few shots.
I love Mike's beanie. cute cute cute!

"Most political calls are received during the political / election season. You may try asking the caller to remove your name/phone number from the calling list. "
So how do you do that when it's a Robo-call?
It took a lot of nerve for politicians to exclude theirownselves from the list.
My fingers are crossed, so far my new landline isn't on any list, and I don't think they can call cell phones. Yet.

I love that effect in your photo Lotta!

Nope, I am going to see Spamalot! at the McCallum, in fact.

Coffee. Come to think of it, the rest I have given up for extended periods at one time or another without missing them.
I discount car, because that is a practical choice. The 3 years I was in Europe, I didn't miss it.

Thanks for the review and setlist Shianne, from your description, pics will be awesome!

We all face tragedies in life, Amy said it best; you are all inspiring and amazing. I am so glad to know you guys, even if it's just online. I love getting together with Farmers in real life best though!
I feel showered in little hearts when I'm around Farmers :060:
