  1. ^I know, Marcia. (I just bought your one of your BT shirts yesterday. LOL) I just don't know if I have the kahunas to actually wear it to the concert. I don't want to get denied access/kicked out before I get to see Steely Dan!

Wear another shirt over it until you get in and seated. And no, I know know what I want to be whenI grow up :116:

  2. Well, lately I have been spending my free change going to see the knobs. Considering I do not know how to play.....the knobs is a wiser investment, lol! I am thinking the harmonica may be the instrument for me....got lots of hot air...and know how to blow....:icon_eek: did I say that?????

We're all full of hot air - 98.6ยบ*to be concise. ;)

Taylor make great guitars. I bought a new 414ce about 6 years ago and I love it.

I'm startin' to feel the love.

    Sweet.

BF is jonesing for the new baritone

Wish I could oblige him, it sounds like a hot fudge sundae on a warm summer night.

  3. (Copied from the 3/18 Knobs thread)

Less than 3 weeks til showtime. Thank You to Careyanns for all the You Tube videos. It helps to be familiar with the tunes you'll hear :003:. I definitely want to check out Norman's Rare Guitars which is only a 3/4's of a mile away on Ventura Blvd.

Wow! Thanks for that, maybe I'll do that too. Did you see the youtube video where Jason played a Les Paul Goldtop at Norm's?

Also, April 16th is Record Store Day, when there are a lot of special 45s and LPs for sale. Cathy and I are going to Amoeba!

  5. OMG Bennie! That was great!

My bf worked for Taylor back in the late 80s. I just finished a little painting of his Dan Crary from that era:

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was at a special presentation of the custom made R Taylors, which are made by hand, with about 300 a year being produced. They make 500 of the regular Taylors a day. Now I see why!

  6. ^^ so good to see that you chose a picture with more than "balls" on it.....lol. Now go try and eat your spags and meatballs!!!!

:) Actually, that picture made me really really hungry.

I love Leonardo, he was so... exacting.

Btw, my sauce doesn't have meatballs in it, it has sausage.

    Okay, I'm done now.:018:

  7. Barb, that made my mouth water!

Patty, I have never heard of sharp provolone.

I was nearly late for my meeting so I just heated up some of Constance's spaghetti and sauce - and I still have enough for one more meal. I won't complain tho, the budget's tight right now.

In 2010 Mike seemed to play the Red Jag mostly. Although I didn't start going to shows until early 2009, it looks from other people's pictures that he has played a variety of guitars over the years. This year it seems like the main three so far are the 2 Jags and the Vox 12 string Starstream (what a beauty!). But you never know!

  9. ^:) I like your blog!

03/21/11: I made us fried eggs on muffins with sliced tomatoes, brown mustard and Jarlsberg cheese for breakfast - basically what was handy, since I was in a hurry.

First words out of BF's mouth was 'Egg McMuffin' , then he bit into it and he exclaimed, "You're a Foodie!"

"So are you!", I fired back. (a bit lamely)

He worked as a waiter at Sardi's as a young lad, and has never looked back. My weak efforts at eggs N' muffins pale compared to his.

Tonight I had left overs of Roasted chicken and Mexican rice.

Tomorrow is movie night and Constance is bringing spaghetti sauce. Stay tuned.
