  1. Thanks Ryan. Short summer vacation Will there be any more info on the DK site than what's already on the "Shows" page? Also Ape is playing at the end of May at Mozambique, although I can't make that one.
  2. What is considered dinner can vary, particularly in farming country, it is often the biggest meal of the day, no matter when. For most people nowadays though, I think the evening meal is called dinner.
  3. Mine's from Dylan's "I Shall Be Free No. 10" Well, I set my monkey on the log And ordered him to do the Dog He wagged his tail and shook his head And he went and did the Cat instead He’s a weird monkey, very funky
  4. Well, that's cool and all: hand signed by the band it says - for $100. However if Sarah Jo has already paid for hers, maybe the better option for her is to get an extra off someone else. Linda's been in my prayers. Her absence is worrisome.
  5. Me too! I saw Keb' Mo do a short with Bonnie Rait a couple years ago - another I'd like to see. Sounds like hitting the jackpot to me!
  6. Oh I don't think I'll like that.:061:
  7. Leave me alone, I guess - I live out in the desert, so not much of the above applies. I did get some el grande cacti the other day to plant. The winds blew a big 'arm' off a friend's plant, so he gave me some.
  8. None here, never had the desire. Out here, that makes me a bit of a renegade. Lol, Rick and Lizzie. After we'd been dating awhile, my bf stated how much he hates tattoos - I couldn't help but ask if he checked me out first to see if I had any before making that statement.
  9. Okay 3 things: Gentlemen, if you are over age 12 - Under Armour He looks good for 64. I am tempted to see if I could do that for half that long.
  10. There are Barb, I swear!, but maybe they are too smart to become elected politicians. The powers that be pick who they think are willing to benefit them most, and we are then presented with our 'choices' to vote for. When the choice is the lesser of 2 evils ideologically speaking, we all lose. Sadly, too many people these days would also vote for Adolf if it meant 'beating' the other party. Nobody knows better than me how badly the system is broken here in CA. My state representative is in Visalia, 300 miles away. If I lived one block south, my representative would be 60 miles away. The form I filled out and sent out to her 3 weeks ago (the only way to make contact), regarding an ongoing issue with the state health department, has yet to receive a response. She has no field office or field reps out here, unlike her counterpart only 60 miles away. :085:
  11. I am very sorry to hear that. I despair sometimes, I really do. Both parties have some very intelligent people, but they continue to trot out attention whores who have no business running for office.
  12. TIL that a coal hod I have is made in Canada, and it's not that old. But you are right about nearly everything being made in China.
  13. I hate trackpads, I prefer a wireless mouse regardless of whether it's a desktop or laptop that I am using.
  14. Pizza tonight. I love making it with Boboli crusts.
  15. Wired keyboard, wireless mice on one, plus a laptop and a usb keypad when I need it.
  16. I missed you Sharon! And Seltaeb - missed meeting you again! Who was that masked man in the top hat - he video'd nearly the whole show.
  17. How funny, I know a Sandy whose thyroid has also been running riot - she's Australian.
  18. :085: Just a heads up for those who weren't there. Mike said it would be their last show before 'summer vacation' and Matt will be going to Italy for a couple months 'so he can pay his mortgage'.
