  1. http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/conficker.asp Is that the one this thread is about? Here's a 2 hour old AP link, with some updated links attached to he bottom of the page. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gyP5ygt_hS_RJ51QV2a5k10wK9mQD9793VCO0 I'm not at all worried about my Macs, and not terribly concerned about my pc, but I find the implications of corporate machines being infected very scary indeed.
  2. :085: Only two? France and Indonesia.
  3. Only if Sarah Silverman comes with me.
  4. They're some humdingers, ain't they! :045: Aw c'mon, you were all thinking it. :077:
  5. I'd thank the person who took it, if I knew who it was. :icon_neutral:
  6. Thanks for filling in some details. I heard about this from somewhere else this morning, too. (same pic as posted in BT thread)
  7. I like swiss cheese on my cheeseburger, but other than that, just hold the pickle - it belongs on the side. What's more important is the burger itself. I'll have a hamburger any ol' time, but it's very rare to get one made with really tasty ground beef.
  8. Is gorgeousity a word? Those pictures gots it, Steve. Thanks again.
  9. I was going to post this last week, and uh, I forgot: "29 DAYS AND COUNTING, My CD comes out in less than a month! - so stoked!! sara" it says on her website. http://www.sarawatkins.com/
  10. Wow! what a bunch of stuff - oh how I love stuff! I want the Hard Day's lamp. My late boss had one of those Beatle Bobbleheads: That Shannon painting is really nice, as soon as I saw it, I googled her name and went to her gallery. Can't say I love them all, but there are some that really appeal to me. Thanks for sharing your trip, it must have been a ball!
  11. Excercise. I just can't stick with it. I need it to coincide with a meaningful activity or I lose interest. I'm normally an active person, so as soon as I'm shed of this desk job I have, I'll be working the weight off like I used to do. Otherwise: I've always been addicted to veggies, I'm a compulsive reader, the serenity prayer is my mantra while I drive, no kids - so I'll never be a grammar - proper or otherwise, and life's too short to waste on spotlessness.
  12. Thanks for starting a thread and letting us know how much you two enjoyed the show. This is an artist I'd really like to see/hear live, just on the basis of seeing the pictures and setlists you've already posted.
  13. Beautiful, beautiful pictures! oooooh poppppppiesss! There's nothing like the mountains when spring has sprung. Makes me want to load the camper right now and head for the Sierras - even though it's waaay to early for that. I did some gardening this morning and just finished lunch out on the patio. I love this time of year! Even the desert is amenable.
  14. The Macarena? Yeah, sorry about that. :003:
  15. He reminds me of Bill the Cat. Sorry Bill. We're all monkeys under the skin!
  16. I just now watched this: bhxVEIgj0cM Not a New Order fan, but they certainly did justice to this song.
  17. Totally off topic, but did you know Bob Dylan wrote every song ever written? uJIDDQTxid0 I think this video is hilarious - ymmv. I loved you picture Square One, I hope you can post more.
  18. Yes, Love Minus Zero/No Limit, is from Bringing It All Back Home (1965) I love the way Jason sings it.
  19. A roll in bed with honey, of course
  20. I will concede that as stupid as they look, I take comfort in the fact that at least the wearers have happy feet, but the reason I'm revisiting this thread is that the lolcats don't care about your happy feet.
  21. Slightly off topic, but NPR's "all songs considered" has a bunch of live stuff from the 03/19/09 SXSW Festival, which you can either stream or listen to as a podcast. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=15681603 There's also an archive of Nickel Creek's 'farewell for now' show from Nov 2007, among other great perfromances.
