  1. 1. Did/Do you get an allowance as a kid, and if so, how much was/is it?

    * Nope. My parents didn't believe you should be paid to help out around the house, which is probably why my brother and sister never picked up anything.

    2. How old were you when you had your first job, and what was it?

    * I was 16- I taught at an after-school/evening program for 8 hours.

    3. Which do you do better: save money or spend money?

    * Spend, but I do save a teeny bit after bills are paid and before fun is had.

    4. Are people more likely to borrow money from you, or are you more likely to borrow from them?

    * I've often had to borrow, but I'd love to have enough to loan.

    5. What's the most expensive thing you've ever bought?

    * This computer.

    As Cyndi Lauper used once sang, money changes everything... it may not buy happiness, but at least you can afford a therapist to figure out why you're unhappy !

  2. Thank you for the advice everyone. I have a list of names and now only have to decide male or female. I have trouble talking with guys about 'sensitive" issues.....I think most guys do, so maybe a woman would be best, but I don't know. Any thoughts on that ?

    Tim

    I'd go with whatever gender you're more comfortable opening up to. I was forced to have a male therapist when I wanted a female one and it accomplished nothing.

  3. I HATE this F&%$ing weather!!!

    I hate migraines, which I woke up with and I get when we get temps like this. :085:

    That sucks ! I realize this isn't much comfort to you now, but it's supposed to cool down (relatively, anyway) by the middle of next week.

    I hate sweating, and I hate having to walk for more than a few minutes in this damn heat !

  4. I confess (and I hate to say this) that Im starting to get bored on The Farm.

    I confess that my first thought was "Not this shit again !"

    My second one was "I'll miss Shainjr. if he doesn't visit the Farm as often."

  5. I went to rural public schools. The teachers really cared about us and I know I got a much better education that kids around here are getting today.

    I also went to a rural public school, and I also think I got a damn fine education. I am always amazed that many college-educated people I meet seem ignorant by comparison to the high school graduates back home.
