Not in the least. As for him not being on the Echo cover- I think it's in RDAD or in one of the books that Howie couldn't get his shit together and repeatedly missed his flights, so Tom finally had enough of it and just shot the cover without him. I definately noticed that he was the only band member missing from the cover, and knew it was an omen of things to come- if it was important enough to have him as part of the shoot, they would have found a way to reschedule it. That they didn't tipped me off to Howie's not being in the band much longer.
