What a beautiful and funny remembrance! I wrote a tribute to a cat of mine that died a few years back, and it still brings tears to my eyes every time I read it. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. You're in my thoughts.

I know this is late, so I don't know who will see it, but I REALLY need to thank the Farmers here who have kept me and my cat Sonnet in their thoughts, and the hugs we've been given during her latest illness, coupled with her going blind. Monday night, I should find out exactly why that happened. Thank you all so very much. We're deeply touched by your kindness.:heart:

Good day: Productive Bad day: Miserable

Richard Ashcroft (of the recently reunited The Verve), provided his wife and kids aren't around. That would be a wild ride!:077:

1. What makes you feel exposed? When neighbors move into the house next door. We always have the blinds up for the kitties to look out the windows (I guess with the female now that's a moot point:085:), and I've caught previous neighbors looking in. It's been very freeing not having neighbors, lol! 2. What do you have to force yourself to do? Just about anything that's good for me, like exercise! 3. Where do you like to spend your time outdoors? We have a swing under the front porch overhang, or on a patio chaise in the backyard, especially since we got a six-foot fence back there this year! 4. What surprises you? When people are genuinely kind to me, and aren't talking behind my back. 5. Friday fill-in: Late at night I'm usually feeling the best I've felt all day, which is why I hate to go to bed. I usually feel worst first thing in the morning.

My 8-year-old female orange cat Sonnet has gone blind. Monday she goes into the vet to find out why. They're assuming high blood pressure, but will check to make sure. She's always been sickly; the runt of the litter, with asthma and allergies, and she's had a cold recently, but just got really lethargic a day or so ago. She has a fever as well, and is on antibiotics. Her appetite is better since they gave her a shot, and they also hydrated her. At least now we know why she's so shaky walking around: She's not used to not being able to see!:085:

I don't have a T.V. to watch. I watch movies on the computers.

Since Barnes and Noble has a store near here, I looked, but the book's not in stock, so I ordered it online from them. Though I probably won't be able to resist checking Best Buy again before it gets here!

My attitude has improved remarkably since last night. But, that's subject to change, lol!

Nope. We're hiding. Dad's tired of giving out candy, and I've never wanted to do that in the first place. I actually find it quite stressful. Maybe I can find a doctor's appointment to go to after work next Wednesday!

^Looks like you're gonna make me go back to Best Buy later today! I bought the DVD first thing last Tuesday, and I never even THOUGHT to look for the book, but the anticipation is killing me! It seems to be a real crapshoot, though, doesn't it? Haven't heard anyone get one yet from a Best Buy in the northeast. I'll let you know what happens.

I have a theme plate, but not a vanity plate. New Jersey has all kinds of theme plates. Mine is the Shore plate. I've been meaning to apply for a vanity on my Shore plate, and I think that can only be five digits. I tried once before to get a vanity when I had a regular plate, which I think is seven digits. They give you three chances on a form to pick something that hasn't been used, and my three were all taken! I have no interest in a TPATH vanity, though. Hubby's and my initials would be really cool; preferrably AM FM, but just in case, FM AM or something similar for the third choice. I really want to try this, soon; after all, I'm changing my last name, anyway!
