Sorry about your cousin, but it reminds me of a somewhat funny story:
A guy I used to work with was an avid bike rider. One day he had a
bad accident, broke both elbows! and was obviously completely out of
commission for months.
So, that's not funny, of course; it's terrible. The funny part, and you
know this came from one of his guy friends. He gained a nickname:
FLIPPER:082:

Okay, I actually watched it with the sound off, though I haven't heard it, or anything else, yet, off this album, though I can't wait for it to come out.
My one peeve: Why the hell is Tom sitting down? Are his knees that bad? Maybe they should call this 'The Wheelchair Tour' so he doesn't have to fake health later.

Funny you only see one person. I see two. One is definitely Del Shannon, and I think the other is Phil Seymour, of the Dwight Twilley Band, who had a lot to do with how the final version of 'Breakdown' came out on TPATH's debut album.

I wonder where "Andrea" is? I haven't seen her around in quite a while?!Hope she's alright.
I thank you and Sharon and anyone else who may have been wondering about me. I'm okay, but my wedding, a cousin's suicide and the loss of my cat Sonnet after a two month illness have caused me to re-evaluate my entire life, including my obsession with Tom Petty. I've been checking in about once a week, but have hardly been posting at all. I used to lurk for at least a couple years, both on here and the 'other' board, and it looks like I'm reverting back to doing that. This is a really good board, with fun and interesting people, so it's definitely nothing personal. I'm sure you'll see me from time to time.

Lip balm. My lips disintegrate without it.

I ate only half my dinner of meatloaf, stuffing, and beets. I was sick yesterday.

I'm also from New Jersey, so no accent here, haha, though for some reason when I go to say any variation of 'wash' it almost always comes out 'warsh'! Where THAT comes from, I have no idea!

- I sent out all the thank you cards for our wedding.
- Am in the process of changing my last name.
- Am managing to stay away from the computer for long stretches to enable me to actually get things done!

Well, I'm off Monday and Tuesday already, but Veteran's Day was technically Sunday, and yes, the Postal Service let us Sunday workers have that day; everybody else, including the mail, was off Monday.

The lack of humidity, which is making for a lot of good hair days!

I don't care, 'cause I don't watch the Olympics. I hardly watched them, anyway, and then they really lost me when they switched some things to a 'two-year' thingy. Does everything hafta get so bloody convoluted?! Once every four years was plenty!

It has a lot to do with what the project actually is, but I am also a procrastinator. For example, I have big issues with creative writing, which I would do almost immediately, versus real-life writing, which I will put off as long as possible!

I wonder if I should call him. I'm worried.

I wish hubby would come home soon. There's been more drama with these Saturday night poker games than anyone should have to endure.

I have one pair of slippers, the first I've owned in years, black suede men's. They look like loafers, but I've only wore them around the house, taking out the garbage, and driving Dad to and from the doctor's when I knew I wasn't getting out of the car!

I've had ongoing illnesses for about 20 years, now, but thankfully, nothing that will kill me, at least not outright, lol! Mainly migraines, other kinds of headaches, and IBS.

1. Did you go to any party/parties this past Halloween? Hell, no! Not a party kind of person.
2. Do you like to dress in costume? No, but I do like to pretend I'm someone else!

3. Favorite chocolate? I really like Dove milk chocolate.
4. Best scary movie? I don't know if it's scary or not, but Bram Stoker's Dracula. I don't like scary movies as a rule.
5. Friday fill-in: My best friend scares me. Especially when she tells me she's been walking around downtown in the middle of the night! The next night after she told me this, I had a nightmare that she was murdered! I was attacked walking somewhere I really shouldn't have been when I was 13, and she knows this, and she knows it's stupid, so she blew my mind!

Oooh, I actually love this song, 'Step Into Christmas'.
